A leading technology company is looking for an Electronic Service Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, calibrating, assembling, and disassembling electronic instrument products to maintain functionality and accuracy. Electronic Service Technician Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $22/hr
- Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Roseville, CA 95747 - Onsite)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment
Electronic Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Responsible for testing, calibrating, assembling, and disassembling electronic instrument products to maintain functionality and accuracy.
- Work with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature.
- Solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity. Escalate more difficult repairs to experienced technicians.
- Exhibit the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people.
- Adhere to the highest standards of business ethics. Provide consistent and solid contributions to team and service center delivery goals.
- Exercise good discretion in the use of time and other resources. Maximize the use of existing assets, and multi-tasks effectively, and ensure the company resources are used properly (i.e. connector care, ESD, ETE).
- Maintain high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments. Promotes ESD, Service Note compliance, and other programs that are conducive to the delivery of high-quality service and minimization of re-repair.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. May initiate customer interaction as appropriate. Escalates issues through appropriate channels when necessary. This is done verbally or via written correspondence.
- Adhere to established production processes and is responsible for achieving established team production goals.
- Perform adjustments, calibrations, and basic repairs.
Electronic Service Technician Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment.
- Prior experience is strongly preferred.
- Some education, specialized training/certification, or Military experience.
- Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, PC Based, METCAL, TME, etc) is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
- PMEL experience is strongly desired.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate electronic and mechanical competence.
Electronic Service Technician Shift:
- Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
