Position Description:

This position supports both internal and external clients through a variety of different avenues including maintenance, shipping and receiving, and transporting Company vehicles.

Essential Job Duties:

• Clean, repair, and maintain various pest control equipment
• Assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Prepare large material orders for the field staff
• Operate forklift to move product as needed
• Assist in preparation of vehicles for the field staff
• Occasional light building maintenance
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Safely drive company vehicles
• Cooperate with management to complete any other tasks as assigned
• Work in a safe manner by adhering to OSHA, state requirements, and Plunkett's policies and procedures
• Participate fully in training opportunities to enhance knowledge and to meet requirements for safety standards
• Project a friendly, pleasant, courteous, and professional image when dealing with internal and external clients
• Adapt quickly to change and work under tight deadlines
• Effectively organize work and complete on timely basis
• Behave in accordance with Plunkett's commitment, mission statement and vision; follow Company procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED equivalent and be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to effectively communicate on the phone and through email/text in a professional and efficient manner
• Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, write, clearly speak and understand English
• Must be vaccinated against COVID-19, willing to become vaccinated, or eligible for an exemption
• Favorable drug test and acceptable background record are also required

Preferred Requirements:

• Forklift certification is desired but not required
• Previous warehouse experience a bonus

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Communicates through telephone conversations, email, text and face-to-face interactions
• The ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
• This is a physical position with extensive movement, including, but not limited to bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, and reaching overhead
• Read printed materials and a computer screen
• The ability to perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination
