The main goal of the Traveling Special Projects Manager is to transition a recently acquired self storage facility to our operating systems and on-site processes.  In addition to onboarding new facilities, the position requires travel to previously acquired locations to help facilitate basic property improvement projects.  This position reports directly to the Director of Property Management.  Base location is flexible but preferable to be in the southeastern US due to driving proximity to most of our properties.  Travel will take place approximately 2-3 weeks/month.  Vehicle and travel stipend also will be added. Job Description Perform skilled infrastructure/structured cabling work in the installation, service and maintenance, repair and alteration of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling and other various low voltage cabling systems. Complete physical installations and removal of structured cabling components, cabinets, pathway systems (cable tray), move equipment, racks, and related communications infrastructure materials. Golf Carts Provide Members and/or Guests with the availably of golf cars by: Maintaining an ample amount of "ready" golf carts in the staging area. Assist with unloading golf bags from the bag drop area/bag storage room and load onto assigned carts. Instructing Members and/or Guests on the operation of golf carts.
