GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Will perform UH-60A/L/M aircraft maintenance on avionics, ASE, and electrical components as assigned. Requires an in-depth understanding of advanced electronic equipment and systems diagnostics. DUTIES: Inspecting, testing, and repairing electronic aircraft components that are required for communication, navigation, ASE, and flight control systems. Install and troubleshoot various systems such as NAV/COM/PULSE, Auto Pilot, Audio Systems, TAWS, GPS and RVSM. Keep current on aviation safety practices and technology. We are looking for a talented team player to join our friendly team and provide expertise in HVAC and plumbing needs. Responsibilities will include operation and maintenance of the plumbing and HVAC&R systems and other general facility support activities and maintenance efforts. The work location is at the NOIRLab facility on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson, Arizona. Working hours are generally 8-hour days, Monday through Friday; however occasional over-time or weekend efforts may be required.
