The main goal of the Traveling Special Projects Manager is to transition a recently acquired self storage facility to our operating systems and on-site processes.  In addition to onboarding new facilities, the position requires travel to previously acquired locations to help facilitate basic property improvement projects.  This position reports directly to the Director of Property Management.  Base location is flexible but preferable to be in the southeastern US due to driving proximity to most of our properties.  Travel will take place approximately 2-3 weeks/month.  Vehicle and travel stipend also will be added. Additional healthcare/cell phone stipend.  Retirement benefits.

Responsible for all Vehicle Operation, Equipment Operation, maintenance on vehicles, maintenance on equipment, ordering parts and supplies, maintaining all aspects of the vehicle operation and maintenance operations as scheduled.  Responsibilities Check buses on a daily basis for accurate operation. Maintain a consistent vehicle service program. Maintain a consistent equipment service program. Repair any and all vehicles/equipment needed. Ensure all parts are ordered and onsite. Constantly strives to further the mission of the organization and avidly supports the Wilds, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Zoombezi Bay, Safari and Golf Club. Implements sustainable practices in daily tasks whenever possible. Perform all other duties as assigned.
