The City of Overland Park has a full-time Asset Management Coordinator position available in the Public Works Department.
Responsibilities: Oversees the department’s asset and work management program and ensures the accurate collection and reporting of infrastructure asset data, including training, system configuration, assistance with device implementation, report generation and analysis of data for management decision making. Work includes creating and maintaining asset management information from collected data, plans and files; making calculations, completing reports and performing analysis; monitoring citizen inquiries from OPCares and making sure work data is accurate and timely; overseeing complete asset records; and conducting quality control based on established methods.
