The City of Overland Park has a full-time GIS Analyst position available in the Strategic Planning Division within the Planning & Development Services Department.  Responsibilities:  Designs, operates and customizes City's geographic information system (GIS) in a way that supports employee job functions and decisions of City officials. Uses the ArcGIS software suite to create, edit and analyze geographic features and their related data attributes. Uses appropriate programming tools and expression languages to  automate GIS workflows and ETL processes, customize applications, and streamline nightly data transfers. Serves as a product expert for the ArcGIS suite, including the implementation of upgrades and new software products, provides training and support for internal users, and executes other duties as assigned.
