 At Intercommunity Action, we hire great people for great jobs. Our Greenridge Counseling Center (GRCC) is currently looking for a motivated, passionate Psychiatrist, with an interest in holistic wellness and medication assisted treatment, to work in an intimate, Community Mental Health Center that has a private practice feel.

 Our dedicated staff are committed to supporting our Psychiatrist and cater to providing a comfortable and efficient environment to work in.
Psychiatry is a diverse discipline. Our Psychiatrist will provide:
  • Outpatient psychiatric consultations,
  • Evaluations
  • And treatment services to individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health concerns.
  • You will also have open access to scheduling, which is managed by a strong central office team.
 Working as a Psychiatrist at Intercommunity Action will allow you flexibility and work-life balance as this is a part-time, 30 hour a week, position which allows you to have a life and a career.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving skills, the ability to multitask and be looking for a dedicated team to work with. Requirements include knowledge and proficiency in outpatient community mental health; Drug and Alcohol addiction experience and working with children and adults. 


Job Requirements:

The most suitable candidate will have the skill, knowledge, & understanding to cover the needs of the population served; provide psychiatric care that is consistent with behavioral health best practices including experience administering Buprenorphin/Suboxone (ASAM certification is preferred but not necessary). 

Qualifications include:
A medical degree with an active license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;

Must be Board certified/eligible in addiction psychiatry, or general psychiatry, with experience working in addiction.

Must have a current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances and be comfortable utilizing electronic medical records for charting and prescribing purposes and have clearances in accordance with PA Acts 33 & 80. Interested candidates, please respond to:
